THESE NYC RESTAURANTS ALL SERVE ONE SPECIALTY DISH.

NYC is one of the culinary capitals of the world. New restaurants are born every month and with the small profit margins and heavy competition, you must be passionate about the hospitality and what you’re serving your guests. New Yorkers are equally driven by innovative dining experience and new concepts. Often craving classic favorite dishes with a new experience. These specific hankerings have led to one of our new favorite types of eateries. Specialty restaurants that only serve one item. This is our list of 10 businesses that only serve one item.

Wafel and Dinges

Needing to start out with one of NYC’s iconic classics, Wafel and Dinges started out with a truck in Soho in 2007. They now have multiple locations all over NYC as well as mobile trucks that can be rented out for events. Their waffles have a crispy sweet outside, with a warm and chewy center. The perfect waffle and recommend getting as many toppings as you can because when it comes to waffles…”more is more”!

S’mac

Not the first mac and cheese bar in NYC, but with the incredible variety of mac and cheese flavors, it has risen above the rest. If it's your first time visiting, definitely recommend trying the 8 mac and cheese sampler flight. These cheesy explosions  are served in hot iron pans fresh out of the oven. The ultimate comfort food, do not miss out visiting during your next nyc visit.

Rice to Riches

Potentially the longest running establishment on this list, Rice to riches is THE rice pudding spot. Opening over 20 years ago many have suggested that the rice pudding is a front to cover up other dirty business dealings.

The space pays homage to classics, while also introducing unique flavors like “sex, drugs, and rocky road” and “fluent in French toast”. Definitely recommend utilizing the 3 free samples to decide which flavor since they are all amazing.
